Introduction
For some people, browsing websites or visiting physical venues can be difficult or even impossible due to various disabilities. Website accessibility is an essential component in ensuring equal rights and opportunities for everyone, including individuals with disabilities. An accessible website allows every user to understand, navigate, and operate content effectively, regardless of any physical, sensory, or cognitive limitation. Furthermore, implementing accessibility standards strengthens the user experience, improves service quality, and promotes compliance with legal requirements. This introduction forms the basis of the website’s and venue’s commitment to providing a fair, clear, and accessible environment for the general public.
On-Site Accessibility Features
The “Osim Shivyon” (Making Equality) company invests maximum efforts to promote and make websites accessible to everyone. This website has integrated an accessibility system developed by Osim Shivyon to allow users to choose more comfortable options for use, viewing, and browsing. In addition, accessibility adjustments have been carried out on this website in accordance with the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (TI) 5568 at the AA level and the international WCAG 2.0 document.

Service Animals Support:
Service animals are legally permitted to enter the amusement park. However, service animals are not allowed to board specific rides/attractions that are not safety-optimized or certified for animal occupancy. In such cases, the service animal must remain at the designated entrance of the attraction. Park staff are not responsible for the supervision, handling, or care of service animals.
Line-Skipping (Queue Exemption) Protocol:
-
Queue exemption is granted to adults or children with valid disabilities. A designated wristband will be provided at the ticket counter upon presentation of an official disability card; this wristband is non-transferable.
-
If the presented disability card indicates the requirement of an accompanying companion (“Eligible for Companion”), the companion shall enter the park free of charge.
-
In cases where a customer with a disability receives free admission based on general park terms, the management is not legally mandated by the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities to grant the companion free admission. However, the combined entry price for the disabled guest and their companion shall not exceed the price of a single standard admission ticket.
-
Wristbands will only be issued upon presentation of a formal, valid disability certificate. Customers stating that they are currently in the process of obtaining a certificate will not be issued a wristband.
Priority Boarding Guidelines:
-
Any individual holding a disability certificate indicating eligibility for a companion and queue exemption may be accompanied to the front of the line by one companion only. Additional group members are not permitted to bypass the queue.
-
Internal park protocols define the maximum number of times an individual with a queue exemption may board a single attraction within any given hour, during both regular off-peak days and peak days.
-
Peak Periods (Holidays, school breaks, and summer months): A guest with a queue exemption may use the priority boarding lane for any single attraction up to 3 times per hour.
-
Regular Off-Peak Days: A guest with a queue exemption may use the priority boarding lane for any single attraction up to 5 times per hour.
-
If a queue-exempt customer wishes to board an attraction more times than the permitted hourly limit, staff may request them to wait in the standard queue line, in accordance with the regulatory stance of the Commission for Equal Rights.
Access to Rides and Attractions:
-
Adults and children with disabilities are permitted to board any ride, provided they meet the specific height and safety requirements designated for that attraction.
-
When executing priority boarding, operators will not halt, interrupt, or delay an active cycle or ongoing boarding process for other guests already at the attraction in order to serve a queue-exempt customer.
-
A child with a disability who meets the height requirement is not legally required to be accompanied on the ride by an adult. However, the companion or guardian remains fully responsible for ensuring that the guest’s functional and emotional state is suitable for the specific ride, particularly if the companion does not board the attraction with them.
-
Guests who require an accompanying companion specifically due to the nature of their disability (even if they meet the physical height requirements) must be accompanied by their companion on the ride. This tracking and safety accompaniment is the sole responsibility of the companion.
Attraction Accessibility:
The park features several rides and areas structurally adapted for children with special needs, including those using wheelchairs. For further inquiries or specialized assistance, please visit the main park offices or contact the Accessibility Coordinator listed above.
Equal Service Policy for Persons with Disabilities – Kiftzuba, Tzuba
The following operational directive applies to all employees and staff members on site:
1. Dignity and Respectful Service
All employees must demonstrate sensitivity towards guests with various disabilities. Staff are required to uphold the dignity of disabled customers, treating them with utmost respect, courtesy, and providing an equitable service experience identical to any other guest.
2. Awareness of Disabilities
Staff must familiarize themselves with the various types of disabilities, including:
-
Visual Impairments: Ranging from low vision to total blindness.
-
Hearing Impairments: Ranging from partial hearing loss to profound deafness.
-
Physical Disabilities: Including individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or other mobility aids.
-
Mental Health Disabilities: Such as schizophrenia or related conditions.
-
Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities: Including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, and cognitive impairments.
3. Proactive and Attentive Assistance
Staff should actively offer assistance after asking the guest if they wish to receive help. Examples of assistance include:
-
Explaining different ticket discount structures.
-
Directing guests to accessible restrooms, park exits, or specific attractions.
-
Explaining height limitations and safety rules for rides.
-
Assisting with the assistive listening loop system at the ticket counter.
-
Helping guests find vacant seating areas.
4. Guiding and Service Animals
-
Guests accompanied by certified guide dogs or service dogs must be permitted entry freely and without unnecessary delays. These animals are highly trained for crowded spaces; therefore, staff should have no safety concerns.
-
If a guest is accompanied by a recognized service animal other than a dog, staff may request to view an official legal identification card or permit proving the animal’s status under the law.
-
Note: Staff are not required to monitor, feed, or supervise the service animal; it remains under the full custody and responsibility of the customer.
5. Emergency and Evacuation Protocols
During emergencies (such as sirens, earthquakes, fire hazards, or security incidents), staff must conduct a sweeping visual check of their designated zone to locate guests with disabilities. Staff must proactively guide, assist, and accompany them to the nearest safe zone or reinforced shelter. Management maintains a structured internal protocol detailing specific evacuation pathways and handling techniques.
6. Incident Reporting
Any dispute, service difficulty, or complaint involving a guest with a disability must be reported immediately to the Park Manager (who serves as the Accessibility Coordinator). The Coordinator’s updated name and phone number must remain prominently displayed on the public website.
7. Maintenance of Assistive Listening Devices
The primary ticket counter is equipped with an assistive listening system. Staff must ensure this device remains powered on and connected at all times. When interacting with a hearing-impaired guest, speak clearly directly into the microphone. Instruct the guest to lift the receiver and press the activation button, or assist them in syncing their personal hearing aid via Bluetooth if applicable.
8. Structural Audits and Asset Maintenance
-
Periodic Compliance Audits: Comprehensive professional inspections of all physical accessibility assets (signage, tactile paving, non-slip strips, and general procedures) must be conducted every 5 years by a certified accessibility inspector. The next official review is scheduled for February 2031.
-
Ongoing Maintenance: All assistive hardware (listening systems, chairs with armrests, public restroom grab bars) must be kept in perfect working order. Any wear and tear must be repaired or replaced immediately upon discovery, regardless of the 5-year audit cycle.
9. Staff Training
If the total number of customer-facing park employees exceeds 25 individuals, management is legally required to conduct experiential accessibility training sessions led by a certified accessibility professional, alongside an organized annual training program in accessibility awareness.
10. Website Upkeep and Transparency
The park website must continuously comply with the internet accessibility guidelines at the AA level. When introducing modifications, adding pages, text, or visual media, staff must verify that web accessibility parameters remain uncompromised. The digital accessibility statement must consistently feature the updated contact details of the venue’s Accessibility Coordinator, a detailed summary of the park’s physical accessibility features (accessible entries, restrooms, hearing loops, etc.), and the queue-exemption terms specified below.
11. Queue-Exemption (Priority Boarding) Operational Procedures
-
Eligibility: Any child or adult with a verified disability is eligible for queue exemption. No age barriers apply.
-
Non-Discrimination: Guests with disabilities shall access all rides without discrimination, subject strictly to the park’s unified height and safety restrictions.
-
Appropriate Terminology: Staff must never refer to a guest as a “disabled child” or “disabled adult.” Always use person-first language: “A customer/guest with a disability.”
-
Alternative Identifiers: Wristbands are given to both children and adults. If a guest refuses to wear a physical wristband due to privacy or personal preferences, management will provide an alternative identification method (such as an authorization slip) to ensure ride operators recognize their eligibility at the boarding lanes.
-
Information Handouts: Every customer granted a queue exemption at the main gate must receive a printed copy detailing these rules and the priority boarding policy within Kiftzuba Park.
-
Companion Regulations: Companions assisting a guest with a disability can be of any age; staff shall not interrogate or cross-examine them regarding their capabilities or age (companions can legally be minors or siblings). Staff are strictly prohibited from demanding proof that the companion is actively providing care.
-
Operational Limits Tracking: To maintain short wait times for non-disabled guests during peak seasons, management will implement a tracking mechanism (such as a specialized punch-card system tied to the wristband). Operators will log the exact boarding time and the name of the attraction to enforce the hourly usage limits.
-
No Time Restrictions: While hourly volume limits are legally enforceable during regular and peak days, the park cannot restrict the hours of the day during which the queue exemption is active (e.g., restricting its use exclusively to morning or afternoon hours is illegal).
